Matt Stone is apparently vowing to never do another movie with Trey Parker. From the article it’s not apparent if they will continue to work on South Park together. This totally bums me out.

‘”It was the worst time of my entire life – I never want to see a puppet again,” Stone told The Sun Online. “It ruined all the serious relationships in my life. You just become a different person, get completely stressed out and don’t pay attention to anything else.’

This sounds really cool. It’s a totally new kind of theme park experience. To put it simply, you have a conversation with a cartoon character. :) (Thanks Sonik!)

I’m surprised it took so long for someone to do this. For $20 ipodmyphoto.com will take any photo and turn it into an iPod ad. I can dig it.

What happened to Sony? Didn’t they used to know what consumers want? They’re releasing their new PSP portable gaming platform with a whole 5 games to go along with it as well as a 4 – 6 hour battery life (less with more features turned on).

“those estimates were for playing a simple puzzle or card game with the screen dimmed, speakers turned off and wireless connectivity disabled.”

Why am I seeing so many sites hyping this device? That doesn’t sound very good at all. What’s 4 hours of battery life going to get you? Barely enough juice for an average day of travel.

I do like the screen size and look of the device, my problem with the PSP is the price ($195 for the system, $50 for games) and battery life.

The DS on the other hand not only has a decent selection of titles (13 now, with another 20 in the next 2 months) but they have innovated by making a platform unlike any other. 2 screens, the bottom being touch sensitive, a ten hour battery life, and wireless capable (802.11b) all for $150 ($30 games). While this isn’t to say the DS is better necessarily, just more well rounded in my opinion. With quotes like this:

“The PSP will, of course, play games as well.”

it’s hard for me to take them seriously. Stop trying to make a device that does everything and give us the essentials.

I got this from the SkyMall catalog on my flight home last weekend. This is one of the funniest products I’ve ever seen. This thing claims to age wine or liquor ten years in ten seconds. There’s some pretty advanced technology behind it too.

Product Description (dig this shit):

“The Earth’s magnetic field aligns liquid particles much like tiny compass needles. This alignment is destoyed during the manufacturing process. Traditional slow aging realigns the particles, but is an expensive, time consuming process. Vintage Express uses sixteen Neodymium magnets to accelerate the natural aging process by exposing beverages to a powerful replication of the Earth’s magnetic field. It “opens” the flavor of a bottle of wine in only five minutes, and dramatically improves the flavor of Scotch, Whiskey, Bourbon, Tequila, Vodka or any liquor in as little as ten seconds! The longer the beverage remains in the Vintage Express, the greater the effect.”
