This is too weird. For $50 you can get attach a tiny wifi device to your skin and have it coded to certain keywords (eg. world hunger, baby murdered) and have it give you a small shock when certain news sites have these keywords.

I’m scared….

This is an old Rolling Stone article that I think is pretty good. I thought I would share it with everyone. Tom Petty released a song a while back called “The Last DJ” which is basically ripping on how there aren’t really any good radio stations anymore. Remember when they actually played a variety of music and there was a personality to all of it? Yea me neither.

yield: 5 Gallons

Ingredients:

6.6 lbs Plain Light LME
12 oz Crushed Crystal Grain 60L
1.5 oz Northern Brewer hop pel (Boil)
1.5 oz Williamette hop pel (finish)

Heated 2 gallons w/ crushed grains (crystal malt only) to 160 deg F (aprox. 30 mins) then removed the grainbag. Brought water to boil and added malt extract. Brought back to boil (without foam) and added bittering hops. Boiled for 55 mins then added finishing hops for last 5 minutes. Added to 3 gallons cold water in a plastic fermenter and cooled to 75 deg F. Pitched yeast and took hydro reading of 1.050.

March 30th 2004:
Bottled 1 case of 22 oz and 2 cases of 16 oz bottles.
O.G. – 1.050
F.G. – 1.010
Alc. – 5.9%

This came out ok, I’m not sure I like the hop flavor in this. Maybe back off the finishing hop next time.

So I saw the Passion of Christ a couple weeks ago and I thought I’d post my thoughts. I was raised Catholic but haven’t really been a church going person since high school, so I don’t have a whole lot of emotional connection.

I thought the movie did a good job of being realistic, but I’m not sure that makes for a good movie. The whole movie was beating, kicking, falling, etc. I mean, it’s obvious that that’s what the goal of this movie was to say, yea, they beat the living shit out of him and being crucified is a bitch. There wasn’t really a story. It would’ve been cool if they had recounted more of his life and explained a little more of what led up to him being captured and crucified. To be honest I don’t remember very much of the story from Sunday school and I was a little confused. So, I was a little disappointed. Anybody have any thoughts? COMMENT YOU BASTARDS!

This is interesting. This is an independant Star Wars film. The production isn’t bad, the acting however….well you’ll see.
